He. Was. So. Annoying! She was glaring at him not because good God she could not believe what she was hearing coming from his mouth. “I have no control over your brain, idiot. That’s all you,” and with that she huffed and crossed her arms under her chest. This was going to be the most horrible time of her life. Oh yeah, she’d start plotting Jared’s death soon enough. Maybe she could drown him in the pool… the water always had been a great friend to Clarice.
Watching Brian walk out of the room she resisted the urge to pick up one of her niece’s toys and throw it at his back. She’d be good and not do that but then he had to go and speak. What? Without a second thought Clarice was jumping out of the chair and racing out of the room. He only got another glare in return to his smile. Oh no. It was one thing for him to come and intrude on this household but it was a whole other height of annoying when he stood in between Clarice and her sweets. (Or Marissa’s sweets, they’re all the same thing really.)
“BRIAN!” She yelled after him and ended up sulking as she slowed down when she got closer. He was already there. “Move,” she ordered, standing in front of him. He was NOT going to do this to her! “Now.”
