He'd be hard pressed to get her to shut up, now that he'd wound her up. Her screeching would probably wake the baby.
"Nothing else?" Brian shot her a look, and only chuckled more when he saw the look on her face. "Like what, exactly?" He held up fast, looking at her curiously. "Nice try. I happen to agree with my brother, that you both could stand to be babysat while Jared and Marissa are gone." Besides, I know you don't want me here. A perfect reason to stick around for awhile, he thought.
