Chance gave her a quick kiss on the hair. He'd welcomed her into the family fold immediately, because that's the kind of person he was, even though they hadn't previously been close. But it didn't matter, because family was family in Chance's mind and to him there was nothing more important than family. So Rory became like another sister, though no one would replace Brookie in his heart as his baby sis. And he was protective and loving of Rory as he would be of his sisters.

Just odd jobs, receptionist work, because these days Melanie spends more time running errands than doing filing and paper work. Plus we could always use and extra set of hands.
