Ashleigh was understanding. She never judged him on his past. Most of the time, she didn't think or care about it. To be perfectly honest, she didn't even want to change anything about it. She knew that if they hadn't taken the exact routes they'd taken, they might not be together now.
However, she hated to be reminded that she'd never be one of his firsts or the only one to do something like this with him. She disliked hearing that she was just one of many.
"Okay," she mumbled.
Oh, his words definitely raised a few questions. She suddenly wondered how many girls had been in his bed(s) before her, if he touched them all the same way he was touching her now. One of many. No, she wouldn't be asking him these questions. Conversations like that never went well. She just had to not think about it.
She returned the deep kiss he pulled her into, fighting to push those thoughts from her mind. Did it matter if he'd kissed them all the same exact way he was kissing her now? Did it really matter if he touched them the same exact way he was touching her? No. So, she just wouldn't think about it right now.
