Ashleigh's eyes closed and she hummed quietly as his lips brushed softly over her jaw. Even if that hadn't been the reason she'd suggested this nap, she couldn't help reacting to him.
"When I do what?" she questioned, obviously a little distracted by that kiss, no matter how brief. Of course, when he pulled away again, she could think clearly and she remembered the blush he must've been talking about. "Is that why you try to make me do it as often as possible?"
She was smiling and obviously in a much better mood than she had been when they'd laid down. "I love your family," she told him after she'd returned his kiss. "They are truly amazing." They were also everything she'd ever wanted. A loving mother and father, an adorable kid brother... yeah, there was definitely nothing wrong with that.
"This was clearly the best idea we've come up with lately. Being here with you is much better than being home alone." Ashleigh definitely missed him when they were apart. It would've been torturous to go so long without seeing him.
