It wasn't that Ashleigh was dwelling... she'd just really wanted to say that. He was right. She wasn't the type of person that set out to purposefully try to hurt someone. Honestly, after given a little time to cool off, she would've felt completely horrible about treating Matt in such a way.
She shifted at his urging, moved closer and tangled one of her legs with his as she worked to get comfortable. There was seriously nothing better than laying in his arms and there was no way she would turn it down.
"I like this bed," she mumbled lazily once she got settled. Her fingertip stroked softly over his chest, drawing little hearts, as she spoke. "It's a little lumpy," she told him, that same finger pausing in it's gentle motion to poke teasingly at him, as if he was the bed she spoke if. "But it's definitely comfortable."
