Matt wouldn't call himself a gentleman... there were just certain things you were supposed to do. Plus, girls reacted really well to the slightest romantic gesture.
"What... do they not carry a ginormous bowls of curry?" he questioned with smirk as he helped her out of the truck. That was officially his new Lyla-word and he couldn't help mocking her just a little.
He'd noticed the box when she'd gotten into the truck but, unlike her, he'd been driving and unable to begin picking through it. "You have a thing for me?" he questioned with a cocked brow.
Of course, his face broke into a smile when she presented him with the box of glasses. "They're awesome!" he declared as he looked the box over, studying the picture as well as he could in the light coming from his truck. "Thanks!"
He really meant that, too. It was an awesome gift and definitely something he would've bought for himself if he'd found them.
He looked them over one more time before setting them gently in the floorboard of the truck.
"Ready to eat?"
On all honesty, he was starving... but, then again, wasn't he always?
