Raking a hand through her hair again, she sighed and looked at the ground again. Dealing? She sucked at that. A lot. She had to, of course, and she was sure she was doing the right thing in this -- at least, in the long run, right? Oh, Nate drove her crazy, got her angry beyond reason, and irritated the hell out of her... but she loved every moment of it.
Nobody else was supposed to be involved. Obvious it may have been, but other people getting involved all of a sudden had made everything so much worse. At least before, it wasn't all out in the open and things could be quietly handled and dealt with. But no. People couldn't mind their own damn business and everything got fucked up and shot to hell and now here she was about... ugh. It would happen no matter what? But at least before there wasn't as much pressure or anything else going along with it.
A part of her still couldn't believe that this was actually happening. Or any of it, really. Things were supposed to be different this time around. Simpler. Here she was though, with two completely different males and... and, well. Life took funny turns, didn't it? It was weird to think that with someone like Nate, they could have... feelings and still have the relationship they did. Screwy and weird? Sure. But it worked for them.
Or.. it did. Now? Now she wasn't even sure if they could go back to being anything and that idea was just as hurtful as the one of hurting him.
Running a hand through her hair and flipping it back, she gave him a slightly irritated look and groaned just a bit as she pushed herself off of the car, eyes rolling towards the sky as she shook her head for a moment, snorting just a bit. "Yeah, yeah," she said with a small scoff as she stared at him for just a moment, biting the inside of her cheek. "I live such a sad and lonely existence that I just need to wait and catch a glimpse of you after school. Nothing better to do with my time." A pause. "Or, you know, I could want to talk to you, which makes so much more sense. Don't flatter yourself so much, especially since it's so unwarranted." And... he was going to make her follow him. Great.
She stood there for a moment, arms folded as she contemplated doing that? Or making him come over to her. Finally, she went after him (it'd end up being that way no matter what, wouldn't it?), hands smoothing out her skirt as she did so. "So. Do I get the time and attention of one Nathaniel Bradshaw or not?"
