Dari wasn't waiting for Jeremy to follow her. She'd meant what she said, even if a part of her didn't expect him to stay there with that girl. Deep down, she probably knew he could never let her leave alone so obviously upset and he definitely wouldn't ever let her walk home alone this late at night.
She wasn't exactly thinking logically at the moment, though. Not that she couldn't explain that, either. Nothing about the way she'd been tonight could be explained away, none of it really made sense from a logical standpoint. Dari didn't even know, herself, why she was so upset.
But not knowing and not having a right to be didn't change the fact that she was. She'd met former flings of Jeremy's before and she'd always managed to be polite, at the least. Who knew why this one was any different. Maybe it was just the timing of it all. She felt like she'd just gotten them back after that whole stupid pregnancy scare and now, here she was, being faced with yet another reminder of his past.
Not that it made this make any more sense - not in the least - because this was just some girl. Some girl Dari was sure could bend in ways she just couldn't, but.. she'd never been so insecure about sex with Jeremy before and she didn't understand why she'd decided to start now.
Whatever it was, Dari's emotions were running away with her at the moment and she barely made it out of the bar before she was really crying. Nothing like the loud, heart wrenching sobs she'd cried so recently on Ashleigh's shoulder, but the tears were flowing freely and, this time, she saw no reason to stop them. She'd have a good cry, get it all out.. and then she'd go home. Whether 'home' meant her place or his tonight, she hadn't quite decided yet.
