Emma braced herself between him and the swing and she lost herself for several long moments as their mouths practically melted together. If she hadn't been certain about it before, her resolve was definitely weak and this was definitely how she wanted to ring in the New Year.
It wasn't a kiss full of love and emotions, her stomach didn't swell with hopes and dreams for their future together, but it was enough.
After a moment, though, she pulled back and smiled at him. "We should head back to the house," she murmured. "I'll need to pick up a few things before we leave."
Honestly, she didn't want Times Square and all of it's madness. She would be just as happy to listen to the count down from his bedroom.
