Emma grinned when he seemed to like her park. Most people didn't see anything amazing about it, there was always something new, something better. When she looked at it, though, she saw memories and nothing new or better could do that for her.
She pushed off the ground when he was in the air and allowed her feet to swing in the breeze when his end was lower.
This was a little taste of heaven to her. After all, not many people would indulge this desire.
She listened intently when he explained his desires. At first, it sounded like such a generic answer but, in the end, she couldn't help smiling at him. He was completely adorable and a genuinely good person. She loved that about him.
"So, you want to help people by being a surgeon?" she repeated, her smile in place as they slowly shifted up and down. "Are you any good at Operation?"
That was a joke... mostly. That was yet another thing she'd loved as a child... and she'd always said that even real surgeons couldn't do it without buzzing the patient and ending the game.
