"It's nice," he nodded, having a look around the park. He kind of loved that she'd brought him here, that he was getting to see a little piece of her childhood and if he found this silly or childish at all, he didn't think it was a bad thing.
He was grinning and clearly having a good time, anyway, as they rode the seesaw that was really much too small for them, designed for shorter and smaller people. Still, it was fun, anyway.
"I want to help people," he answered her, smiling a little more. "I've watched my dad for so long.. and my brother, he's a Doctor here in Seattle, actually - I don't know, I guess a passion for medicine just runs in the family? And there's something amazing about being able to make people well.." It sounded lame to him as he said it, but it was true, even if the biggest reason was that he'd always wanted to be like his big brother.
