It was the same for Harry. Every little thing that barely meant anything before was just magnified. Things he'd never really noticed before drove him crazy, like the way she giggled just now. How had that suddenly become so attractive.
"Nothing," he lied, shaking his head and trying to think about something safe.
"I should.. I should go," he added a moment later as he realized that whole safe thoughts thing wasn't going to happen. "Right? I mean.. you probably want to get to sleep and it's getting late and.. I should.."
His words probably seemed a little less sincere with the way he was moving slowly closer to her as he said them, as if leaving was really the last thing he wanted to do.
