When he came out of the room and pulled her into a hug Anna practically collapsed into him, her arms wrapping around him tightly. She was crying into his shoulder, most likely leaving tear marks on his shoulder where her face was.
"I think I just need to lie down." The words were muffled, her voice going directly into his body. "Can I just go lie down for a little bit?" Pulling away enough she looked up at him, then glanced sideways into Ryders room and a small smile appeared on her face as her son was heard playing with some trains. Anna was still crying though, harder than before but still silently. That had been something she'd perfected over the years.
