Ashleigh felt worse when he shifted slightly. If he actually went so far as to tell her that he was going to go get a shower, she might actually cry.
"No. I mean... it's alright. I'm more than happy to... do what we usually do? I just... you know, I just thought that I'd be up front with you now since you ... seem to have your heart set on it?"
She hated that he was stammering, that she'd made him act all awkward.
