Matt's own thoughts matched her own. This had to be some sort of a dream. These things just didn't happen to normal people.
Honestly, he didn't know who she might want to call, he just assumed that she'd want to be with someone she cared about. Someone that loved her. On that same note, though, he was more than capable of taking care of her and if she didn't want anyone in particular, he wasn't going to force it on her.
"Okay," he returned softly.
Once they'd actually gotten into his room and closed the door behind them, he steered her toward the bed. "Let me get you something to drink," he told her as he made his way over to the mini fridge. After pouring her a large glass of sweet iced tea, he settled himself at her side.
"What happened?" he asked after a moment. "Where were you going? Who was that guy?"
He knew that he was asking too many questions but he couldn't help it. He really couldn't wrap his brain around it.
