Hayden didn't have time to stop the hand from hitting her, and part of her didn't think her sister would have the guts to do it... but that was stupid of her to think. That was definitely a slap that stung. It had a lot of feeling behind it. She couldn't do much else besides just put her hand where Robbie's hand had hit. She couldn't even speak.
So Hayden was supposed to come too? To this guy's house? Okay, she felt stupid now. She still didn't like this guy, but... she could stay with him, right? It would be better than home. He was better than staying with her stepfather. When Robbie stormed off, the redhead slowly went to her closet and packed up a whole suitcase of clothes and personal items she couldn't live without. She felt like she should apologize to Robyn, but... that wasn't like Hayden. Why start remorse now? She put the suitcase outside of her door and grabbed another one and started packing it up. She could make another trip some time later.
