Hayden felt hurt, betrayed. She had trusted Robbie. Trusted her enough to confide in her exactly what Hayden's stepfather, Robbie's father, had done to her when she was only 12 years old. Robbie, Hayden's biological brother, and Ollie were the only people she had ever told, because she knew they were trustworthy, and that maybe, just maybe, Robyn might have had some experiences of her own to share. But now? She wished she had never told her. She wished that she could take back that whole arguement they had had a few years ago when she just blurted it out. That was what had brought them together and bonded them. They would have never seen eye to eye if it hadn't have been for that day. But she despirately wished she never would have gotten close to her stepsister, because it hurt so much more when her sister suddenly turned her back on her.
All because of some guy. Some teacher had stolen her sister. One of the only stable things in her life, one of the only things that helped her keep it together and keep getting through day after day of having to deal with that man. Her sister had to go and fall in love (as much as Robbie refused to say it, Hayden knew) and leave her. At the first oppurtunity, she was gone, and left Hayden in the dust.
Hayden was sitting in her room, her knees up to her chest. If she was the crying type, she would have been crying a river, but instead, she turned to anger. She had given up trying to tell herself that Robbie was just having some sort of vacation. No. She had taken so much of her stuff that that couldn't be true. Hayden wasn't a very optimistic person anyway, so all she could think was "She left me". She didn't hear the front door open and close, but she suddenly heard rustling around in Robbie's old room. Anger coursing up inside her again, she stormed out her own door, down the short hallway to Robbie's room, where she saw the blonde gathering what looked like the rest of her things. The girl didn't look up, so she assumed she hadn't heard her approach. She leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed across her chest, holding her fists from just flying at her sister. In a low, cold voice, Hayden finally made her presence known. "So. This is how it's going to be, Robyn? Some wonderful guy comes along, and you leave me? First chance you get, you leave me here." She couldn't hold back the comtempt when she said 'wonderful guy'. She didn't know the man, and she hated him. He took her sister away.
