Honestly, Ashleigh wouldn't know what girls Ed had or hadn't looked at since meeting her. She knew that they weren't dating exclusively and that he could do whatever he wanted -- the same rule applying to herself, obviously. So, she didn't question him about what he was doing when he wasn't with her. It wasn't any of her business, really, and she'd noticed that he didn't check up behind her either.
When they were together, it felt like she was the only girl on the face of the earth that mattered and he was certainly the only boy holding her attention. That's what really mattered, right?
