Everything was falling into place. He knew that he had gotten a reaction out of Dominic, and now his thoughts of Jade being Dominic's daughter were reassured. He had everything just how he wanted it to be, and it was only a matter of time before his jaws snapped shut on this whole thing. Figuratively, of course. He didn't care who he pissed off in the process. He was going to get what he wanted by any means necessary, even if it meant blowing his monthly check on the damn bint to get under everyone's skin.
Perched on Jade's couch, a rather snide smirk curled on his lips as he read Dominic's most recent entry, and spent his sweet time replying to him in the most painful ways he could think of. This was fun. It truly, sincerely was fun. But now? Now he was bored. The day had been well spent trying to get on Jade's good side, and he thought that he had succeeded, for the most part. But now that things were dying down, he was absolutely and in all ways utterly and completely bored.
Cracking his knuckles, he wandered through the apartment to where Jade was, giving her a charming smile as he leaned against the doorway. This was too easy. It wasn't even a challenge, really. "Whatcha up to, then?" she asked, his voice thick with his Irish accent as he watched her, feeling completely confident in himself. He would have her in the bag within a week if things continued going the way he wanted them to.
