Pack Meeting recap!
This post serves for two purposes. One is to recap this week's pack meeting. It'll take place Thursday, because the new moon is Friday. It'll also take place a lot earlier in the day, just so that Stiles can attend, so it'll likely take place right after Scott gets out of school. There'll be a lot more talking during this pack meeting in preparation for the new moon, and that's why it'll take place at the Hale house - since this meeting will focus on the actual talking rather than the training. Anybody involved in Peter, Jackson and technically Stiles's resurrections will be discussed under the presumption that since more deaths have occurred - and one death escaped - the death spirits won't just be more powerful, but more vengeful so anybody can considered fair game.
They'll also discuss what defenses they know are viable possibilities - including salt, burning sages and wards. Derek will have to talk about wards with Jackson earlier in the week because he intends to discuss their viability without leading Peter to anyone specific. Derek will also implement the buddy system. No one is to spend the new moon alone, including Peter. He doesn't care who pairs off together, he's not a baby sitter. That being said, he's already decided he and Scott will babysit Stiles during the new moon, since Stiles is a human and he won't be able to heal as rapidly from an attack, assuming he survives it. And if Peter insists on going buddyless during this buddy system, he could possibly get dragged into that babysitting duty.
As always, you can post a comment with whatever information your character might have imparted during the meeting, and this post is open for the duration of this game week - as the threads and scenes develop and your characters learn new information.
The second part of this post is for Mac, not Derek. This week, starting Monday, she will begin experiencing her prophetic dreams once more. And if you would like her to view a snippet of what your character will experience during the new moon, let me know (by commenting to this, or via instant messenger or her OOC post, I don't really care). It's assumed by the characters in the know that Mac has a higher chance of seeing events surrounding those in Beacon Hills. Her dreams (such as the one with Brenn and Paul) do not have to involve death, although she doesn't know that, so if she dreams of your character, she will assume they're going to die.
