"Be easy!" DP didn't even look up, using his own bannock to scrape gravy from his plate.

Snap's ears flicked, and a string of drool eased from his jaws as he hesitated, then, vveerrryyyyyy delicately nipped the bannock out of Alex's hand.

...it was gone in less than a blink, and Snap sat and wagged at Alex again, clearly expecting more.
