What: Bad News
Where: The Beach House
When: The wee hours of Saturday morning.
Erik had driven most of the night. They'd spoken to Logan at eleven, after he'd pulled himself, still healing, from the wreckage, escaped the walls of the facility, and found a gas station pay phone. Erik had been driving since then.
He opened the door, despite the locks, and came in. Very few lights were on. He surprised Paige, who was in the kitchen getting a drink.
"What're you doing here?" she asked.
"I need to speak with my daughter. Please don't disturb us." His word was the word. Paige didn't press for answers as he swept up the stairs to the room Lorna was sharing with Sue. He could feel her magnetic energy.
