Who: Elektra and OTA (Brotherhood) When: Sunday night Where: Near the Brotherhood HQ What: Self-defense, and talking Elektra walked along a dark street near the Brotherhood headquarters on Sunday night. She was alone, and she was distracted. She had just come out of the movie "Dear John" and was thinking about things. Her mind was drawn back to Matt, and she wondered how he was doing, and whether he was ok. In her distraction, she didn't notice that she had bumped into someone. "I think you owe me an apology, lady," the giant of a man said to her in a rough, aggressive tone. Elektra could smell alcohol on his breath. This would be very bad if she didn't get away soon.
"I-I'm sorry," she said, feigning timidity. Maybe if she seemed like just any other weak high school girl, he'd go away in peace.
"Sorry don't cut it now," he told her, and he wrapped one massive hand around her head, under her mouth. "You're pretty, ya know that, girlie? How'd ya like a good time?"
"N-no...I...I don't think so. My boyfriend just went to get the car," she lied convincingly, "He'll be back soon."
"Forget him. Let me show ya what a real man can do."
"I said no. Please leave me alone."
Elektra turned to walk away and he grabbed her roughly. He was hurting her now, and she wrenched her own arm just enough for him to feel her sai strapped to her wrist. Her tone became cold, and all emotion left her. "Do not fuck with me. If you haven't let go of my arm in five seconds, I will cut your hand off."
He could feel the blade, but clearly he was too inebriated to know what it meant. His grip tightened. Elektra slipped the sai down from her free hand and delivered on her promise exactly five seconds later, and with surgical precision. Finally, it started to set in. She could read fear in his thoughts now. A flick of her sigh cleaned the blood off of it, and she put it back in her sleeve and kept walking. "Get yourself to a hospital before you bleed to death, asshole."

When she was a little closer to the Brotherhood headquarters, the same guy came back, with friends this time. She could tell it was the same one, because his right hand was cut off at the wrist, and freshly bandaged. She gleaned a few quick thoughts from each of them, snippets of images, and she was horrified by what she saw, what they planned to do to her. She dropped her sais as quick as she could, staying far away from them.
"Get away from me," she said in as bloodthirsty a tone as she could manage. In truth, she was scared out of her mind. There were five of them, all built like football players, and she was just one girl. Not particularly a big girl, either. "Do you want me to take your other hand now, too?"
"Nah. No way, bitch. We'll take whatever you've got though."
Nodding to his friends, the recent amputee stayed back a bit and watched as they surrounded her. Four large men against one rather petite girl. To her, this didn't seem fair. One moved in to grab her, and she ducked down and slashed at his Achilles tendon. A scream signaled her success as she closed her eyes for the strike. He would never walk again, if he survived this encounter. The next managed to push her to the ground face first before she drove the back of her foot hard into his crotch and forced her way back up. This one, she stabbed in the shoulder. Blood spilled onto the street from both men, and the others backed off a bit.
"Daddy," one of them began, his voice shaking, "Yo' sho' dis one bitch is worth it?"
"Nigga," the one called 'Daddy' began to reply, "Git yo' ass back in there. I don't pay you to piss yourself over a bitch like her. Do your job. Show her your gift."
And so the scared man did. He turned to smoke and reformed behind her. Great, Elektra thought, a mutant. This one, when she noticed the reformation, she slashed across the calf. No sense wasting a good mutant who could be of use to the Brotherhood. She threw her sais in opposite directions from herself, hitting both 'Daddy' and the remaining random henchman. Both were dead before they hit the ground. Elektra dropped the wounded mutant off at the closest hospital and then returned to the Brotherhood headquarters before the police could be called to the hospital. She gave a false name to the nurses, Molly Parker, and that was who the police would be looking for.
Coming up to the Brotherhood headquarters, she noticed someone standing near the door, but couldn't see who.
"Sorry I'm late," she said warmly, "I ran into some trouble on the way over here. By the way, you might want to have Magneto keep an eye on New York General hospital for a day or two. There's someone there he may find very useful."
