hey gang, sorry for the slowness. School work and friends have tied me down, so it's best to say you should expect very slow reaction from me. I maybe a bit scarce the next few weeks. Especially come second week of March, me and my fiance are going to Montreal! HURRAY!

I want to do a room roster, but I figured this time around Xavier would let students choose their roomie. So...

That's the only rule he has. Talk it out and tell me who you want your student characters to bunk with!

I know most of you are in busy mode right now (what with Alice, Jamie's play, etc) but for those of you who are able to take up more and like Harry Potter, there's some Edgy Postwarts action going on at irreparable_mod

This is Jeanne-Marie Beaubier. You can read her full bio here but here are some of the highlights.

Jeanne-Marie was raised in a Catholic boarding school. She had an abusive and very unhappy childhood and attempted suicide when she was thirteen. Instead of dying, she flew. When the Mother Superior found out about it, she beat Jeanne-Marie so severely that the shock of it caused dissociative identity disorder. She developed another, more uninhibited personality named Aurora.

Professor Xavier found her shortly after she was accepted on at the school as a history teacher. Daily therapy sessions with him helped to integrate the two personalities. The sentinal attack had them splitting again and they went with Magneto because they both hate what humans did to them.

Anyway, plots away, yo.

Anywho. Holy crap, I'm sorry I went mostly poof. School is whipping me and being like, haha, remember me? And I'm like, I don't wannaaaa. But I gotta. My thesis is falling further and further behind, and I'm working on that. I've completely neglected all of my other school work. Thankfully, I've caught up on my second job for the most part, and my first one has me in... about 15-20 hours a week now, instead of 25-35. But. School. x_x

So, I want to apologize for being more active journaly than otherwise. This is half a hiatus post... but only to say that I will be doing my best to not do worse than I already am. But just so y'all know.

Being that I'm working on my last semester as a creative writing major, I've been running my muse dry on school assignments. If anyone has any idea of a thread they'd like to do with my characters, let me know. I've got almost nothing with Doreen right now. Let me know if anyone wants to be bothered by her antics. Or maybe save her from bullies in the woods. That's been the most exciting thing to happen to her recently. XD Remy I'm thinking of having him meet up with Jubilee in the city for a dark shadowy corner coffee (what'cha think, Jamie? :3) and throwing him in the hospital, sneaking in after dark to use the shower and meet Christopher, so maybe a thread with Lorna and possible Alex? Or whoever might be there?

I apologize again for my flakiness and slowness! D:

Hey, Lindsay here with lady #4 (I'm putting a cap on right here - no more! haha) Anyway, I'm taking on Emma Frost - yay! If you're curious about her backstory, please read her info in the journal. I've taken bits and pieces of who she is and put them together to create a history for her - I've taken a few liberties, but only so I could get her to Xavier's without complication and confusing extra characters and what not. It's pretty straight forward - she's a bitch most of the time. Leave a comment or hit me up on AIM if you wanna plot (Biz4Bubbles)

Here's what's been going on:

The school is being rebuilt. Faculty are mostly concerned with that. The school will open again February 1.

The safehouse is an old hospital downtown. The rooms are basically big rooms with a lot of cots, maybe some curtains for privacy. The bathrooms are down the hall. Boys in one big room. Girls in another. Some of the private rooms for teachers and SHIELD agents.

The FF may be in the city, but in good traffic that's a 15 minute drive. In the Fantasticar that's about 2! Also the Morlocks do not HAVE TO stay underground, they just live there for their own privacy and safety. One of the entrances to their tunnels is a mile and a half in the woods behind the school.

At this point, please do not go on any team missions without first consulting me. I don't want anyone planning a big attack that might throw a wrench into the game for everyone else. Team Leaders are welcome to plan missions, but please chat with me on AIM or shoot me an email @gmail.com. I welcome input.

If you have any questions or concerns about what your characters are doing TALK TO ME. I'd rather have to spend a little time helping you figure some things out, possibly editing the character pages, rather than have you vanish. You guys know how much I love this game and I want this to go smoothly.

It is with a heavy heart that I am forced to withdraw for the coming week. In the past two days, I've lost nearly everything that matters to me, and I need some time to get things straightened out. Forgive me. If I can make it back sooner, I will.
