Now that she had come back to herself, Persephone was in a bit of a conundrum. For so long, she had been very clearly divided into the two parts of herself, the Spring goddess, and the Iron Queen. But in this new world, ruled by Night, she was starting to lose the connection to her Spring self. She could still feel it, if she focused and brought it to the forefront. But it wasn't as easy to do as it had been before.
She'd asked Hera what that had meant, and her answer, that Persephone could be whoever she wanted, had been both encouraging and a slightly unhelpful. That was the problem, she didn't know who she wanted to be. And it was in the midst of that contemplation that she thought of something. Perhaps speaking to Hades might help clear some things up. She knew they weren't meant to reunite until the autumn, but this new world wasn't following the old rules.
Now one didn't just summon Hades to appear somewhere, even one was married to him. Instead, she sent an invitation over by courier, inviting him to join her for lunch. The address and time were listed, and even if he didn't show, she could still have a nice lunch solo.
Dressed in a red V-neck top, black slacks, and heels, Persephone made her way into the restaurant, giving her name to the hostess, who escorted her back to the private table she'd arranged. If the discussion went sideways, she didn't want all and sundry to hear it.
