I arched one perfectly tweezed eyebrow in his direction. "I think someone's just trying to get out of dancing." I teased him with a grin. Finally, I'd broken him down enough to move past all of our silly flirting. Yes, okay fine. Josh was really really freakin' frustrating ninety five percent of the time but then there was that other five percent of the time where he was just nice. And kind of funny.
Oh God.
"We just got here." I told him softly as I put one of my hands on his arm and moved in a little bit closer. "And you want to leave already?" I asked him, my face really close to his. Oh, we were definitely leaving but I had to tease him a little bit first. It was too bad we couldn't go back to my place. I had the hot tub. Unfortunately, I also had the psychotic ex-boyfriend locked in a cage. Kind of a mood killer.
Lacing my fingers around his I pulled him closer to me and kissed him. My mouth pressed against his, and even though it wasn't like the kind of kiss you'd give someone in a hot tub it was full of a lot of things. I mean, this had been building up since the first night I'd caught Josh spying on me. We had a very strange relationship. He was like my stalker, and I was trying to be his friend because he had none. I guess he just kind of grows on you. It didn't hurt that he was pretty either.
"Let's get out of here." I said to him when I pulled away from him, my hand laced around his as I pulled him out of the bar, even though we had just gotten there. "You are going to owe me a dance." I warned him.
