I crushed her cell phone and gripped her hard as she cried out about us having a deal. Didn't anyone ever tell this little baby not to make deals with the Devil? I smiled at her as she bowed her head again and I gripped her chin cruelly and forced her to look at me. Tears were rolling down her face as she cried out again quietly that we had a deal. She was trying to plead with me but it was useless now, totally useless.
"Didn't anyone warn you about making deals with me?" I smiled wickedly at her as she sucked in a great sob and started crying as hard as she could. My grip increased on her arms until she finally stopped crying and started to feel the pain. I know Orpheus has a way of making you feel a great amount of pain to start with, her little body must be on overload. Well, good.
"I'm going to show you what happens when deals go badly, Emily." I loosened my grip on one of her arms and launched her across the parking lot straight into the table we'd just been eating on. All of my men began circling around her from a distance as her blood hit the air. I tipped my nose curiously and stalked toward her as she fumbled to get her grip on a butter knife.
"Are you gonna stab me with the butter knife love?" I smiled down at her as I bent down and watched as she scrambled backwards. Her eyes fell on each and every vampire now circling her but came back to me. The most important one. "You smell delicious do you know that? I can smell the power in your blood, it's intoxicating. A little bit of human and a whole lot of demon."
I didn't give her much time as I pounced on her and pinned her wrists to the cold, hard concrete. I leaned down and gently licked the blood from the corner of her mouth and practically purred in delight. I felt my face shift hard as I jerked her head to the side for just a tiny taste. She was riddled with Orpheus, I couldn't take too much.
"Promise you'll scream for me darling?" I whispered into her ear as my nose nuzzled against her throat and my fangs sank deep into her flesh.
