I could feel the nervous vibes coming off her in waves, spilling over into my lap as she tried to keep the smile on her face. I loved this feeling from women, I think it is my favorite. The one that says 'I trusted you' and 'how could you' all at once, it was intoxicating. I gave her a soft smile as we weaved through the parking garage and the tires squealed on the smooth pavement as we continued higher and higher.
"You really should relax, Emily." I said to her suddenly snapping her attention from the window as she watched. Her little heart was hammering in her chest and she was doing her best to stay calm. I smiled at her again and pulled her a little closer to me. "I told you, I have a surprise for you that I've spent all day planning. You're gonna love it."
The car came to a stop and the engine cut off, the tension in the car was fucking beautiful. I patted Emily's thigh and opened my door, offered her my hand and carefully pulled her out. We were on the top level where you could see all the stars and in the center was a white canopied dining table with soft white lights. It looked like a magical dinner for two wrapped up in romantic little Christmas lights.
"See?" I smiled and kissed the back of her hand and pulled her gently toward the area. Everything looked perfect, rose petals scattered the white linen ground cover. Candles were carefully lit and shielded by the draping canopy. My men did good fucking work, of course they did, if they didn't? I'd kill them. They liked roaming around undead and feeding on pretty girls and boys. I looked at her face and she looked as if she had relaxed a bit, which was good. I could warm her up to the thought that I was still the good guy before I became the bad guy.
"Do you like it?" I whispered into her ear as I stood behind her, my hands on her arms gently before producing the same pink rose I'd given her when I picked her up. "You can see all the stars from up here, I love it."
