Ramses loved taking over Rob's spots. But then, he also loved Rob. How was the dog supposed to know that the man was actually a giant mutated cat? Most people didn't know that, let alone animals. Jon knew that Rob loved him by the fact that the dog was allowed to hang out with them on Rob's bed, in Rob's apartment. That was love.
At the feeling of his leg being nudged, Jon looked up at Rob. He wasn't trying to look down. He wasn't even feeling too sad. Mostly just 'blah' with a side of 'meh'. But not sad. He'd be sad if his book deal had been declined. Heartbroken, even. "I'm sorry," he told his boyfriend, giving him a small smile, but a sincere one. "I don't want to be a bummer. I just hate feeling this mixture of 'yay it's over!' and 'oh my god, I should've done this and that'. I guess you could say I'm discontent, not down."
He smirked a bit. "What's sad is me trying to explain myself."
