"I don't really care who knows, to be honest," Ron said with a bit of bravado. It was mostly true, except that when he'd finally realized that everyone could read about Lavender cheering him up on the weekend, he'd certainly blushed something fierce. More for her sake, though. He didn't want to get her in any sort of trouble. At least neither of them had gone into any sort of detail, though. They'd talked about worse things in the past, after all. It very well could have turned to a different sort of converstation than it had been.
He nudged her now, and gave her a shy sort of smile as he started to fiddle with the edge of her shirt, rolling the material between his fingers idly. "You didn't have to say anything to that Dorny bint, you know."
Despite his words, it was clear he was pretty chuffed about it.
