Alec was a little overwhelmed with Faith's history and exactly what made her different, not that it was something he couldn't handle. He just didn't exactly wrap his head around the idea of a 'slayer' it was something he was interested in learning more about though. Alec knew he could handle himself, he honestly felt bad for anyone that would come after him, but also he did get the sense that Faith would be worried about him. He found it comforting; he didn't know why exactly, but he found comfort in the fact Faith seemed to care about him.

Alec slept shortly after Faith and then woke a few hours later when he felt the onset of the tremors, he was jolted awake. He looked over at Faith who was sleeping peacefully and rolled out of bed, his bare feet landing on the carpet as he stretched and walked to the kitchen. He grabbed a cup and quickly drank almost half of Faith's milk. The tremors subsidising as the Tryptophan in the milk entered his bloodstream. The one thing he missed about Manticore, the meds they provided kept his seizures at bay and stopped them, now he was forced to remember to drink milk and keep an eye on the tremors that could potentially rack his entire body and incapacitate him.

He went back into the bedroom and tapped Faith's shoulder, "Hey..." He said as he kissed her softly on the lips. "Good morning, I've gotta run....work stuff and getting situated into my new place. Furniture shopping and things of the like." He said softly, "I left my number in your kitchen, so give me a call later Faith." He said with a smile as he memorized her half sleeping form. "Go back to bed sleepy head." He teased.

Alec managed to rig his pants so he could ride his bike back to his apartment, once there he took a shower and changed into a new pair of jeans and a shirt. He looked around his still empty apartment, his only possession fitting inside three duffel bags. After he introduced himself to the sheriff and talked about his new upcoming job he made a note to get furniture. Alec looked down at his phone to see if Faith had called him, but she hadn't. He pushed her from his mind, he knew he needed time away from her. He was getting attached too fast.

Alec reached into his pocket and pulled the locket out from Rachel and examined it in the sunlight streaming in from a nearby window. He smiled at the memories and put it back into his pocket.

Alec quickly ran his hands through his hair so he looked somewhat presentable and then drove to the sheriff's office.

Alec pushed through the door and looked around, "Hello? Anyone here?"
