"Works for me," Mal replied, gathering all the plastic bags together and putting them in the drawer Willow had indicated.
He laughed a little at that. "I think you're right," he said, looking around at all the groceries. "But I've been living on protein for so long, and the only variety's been in the colors. Having real food is like getting Christmas and my birthday all on the same day. You don't realize how much you miss simple things like food, hot baths and non-recycled air til you don't have 'em anymore."
"And speaking of food, what are we having for dinner? I could try and cook, but I'm sure you like your house standin'. But maybe I could help somehow? Just tell me what to do."
