When Dean Winchester actually reached out to pull her to him and hugged her - almost suffocated her - she was beyond surprised. But still, it didn't stop her from wrapping her arms around his waist and burying her face in his chest. When she breathed in he still smelled like pure Dean Winchester, and that was a smell she'd never really tire of. It reminded her of her home. Of her dad at times. But mostly, of him.
Still holding onto him, Jo turned her head and laid it against his chest in order to answer a little easier. "I went to Heaven. I don't really remember much about it, but I know I was there because an archangel said that, since I kind of became a martyr when I died, I could make the choice to stay in Heaven or to come back down and help. I chose to come back. Selaphiel came back with me for a little while, but then he left about two months ago. I didn't have all my memories yet, but I had enough to make it on my own." She'd been by herself ever since.
"I ended up here, not sure how. But I settled in and I've been here for at least a month, if not more," she explained. Jo had been here long enough to have a favorite diner at least. And to have a job. She was settling in comfortably enough. "When did you get here?" she asked, softly. "You're okay, right?" She'd have looked him over, but he was holding onto her so tightly that she didn't want to make him let go. Hell, she'd never really been in Dean's arms before when she wasn't wounded. It felt kind of nice.
