The Weather service has released a heat warning for the state of Georgia today, temperatures will remain in the 100s all week. Authorities advise that you should remain inside unless you must go out. If you choose to venture out of your home be sure to drink pleanty of fluids. If you intend to be in the heat for prolonged amounts of time wear sunscreen and try to remain in the shade.
Authorties also warn citizens to watch for symptoms of dehydration during this time. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, prolonged headaches, like that of a hangover, muscle cramps, dizziness and fainting. If you expierence any one of these symptoms get indoors immediately and drink pleanty of water. If symptoms persist or even worsen please see a medical professional immediately or dial 911.
