Sam had spent the day over at her sister's house, bugging her twin about her ever growing relationship. Truth was, they hadn't seen much of each other and at times it was still awkward for them. Their ordeal had put a strain on their relationship with one another, and the two were trying to over come that. Which was why Sam hadn't mentioned her growing worry about her girlfriend and roommate, at least not right away. Until of course her sister dragged it out of her, which is when Sam let it all out. Her worry about Caitlen's oddly distant attitude and twitchy nervous ways. There was something wrong, that much was obvious. Only Sam had no idea what it was, and her girlfriend was not telling her anything. It was rather frustrating, she was sure Caitlen was picking up on that, which didn't help the situation what so ever.
Mid afternoon quickly settled over the town, and the two sister's had talked over just about everything. Samantha finally gathered up her coat and bid Liz and her housemates farewell. It wasn't a long walk back to her dorm, where she had been expecting to find Caitlen. She hadn't been expecting to find what she had found.
As she unlocked the door, the first thing she noticed was the total lack of light. Normally there was at least once night lap on. The sun from the afternoon lit the room slightly through the crack in the drawned cutrains. "Caitlen?" She called softly as she walked into the room. The second thing she noticed was the fact that the room was completely upturned, which was a fact that ws just hammered home as she accidently stepped on a few trinkets that had fallen from the dresser. "Caitlen?" She asked again, this time a little louder. Turning she ran her hand along the wall and quickly flicked the light switch on, which did very little to help. For the moment light flooded the room, she was hit from behind and fell to the ground. Her forehead hitting the door jam as she fell, leaving a small cut by her hairline. Sam was out cold, which was the very last thing she had been expecting.
