to gaven the world is his canvas. if there isn't a pencil behind his ear, there will be pastels dying the inside of his pants pockets. throughout his life gaven would draw on anything he could get his hands on. whether it was a napkin, the sidewalk or the side of a building. his passion for the arts started at a young age and he would spend hours scribbling into a notebook while other kids were kicking around their soccer balls. usually caught with paint on his cheeks or specks of color on his clothes, he's exactly what you'd expect from an artist. a complete dreamer, it almost seems as if gaven floats through life without a complete hold on reality. upon graduating with his bfa at the local university he got a job at a gallery/cafe where he's allowed to showcase his art. although raised in a religious home, gav will not force his beliefs on others and is very lax regarding his own views. in fact he's the first one to make little lighthearted jokes about his faith. he's very old fashioned in his views. no one night stands, treat everyone with respect, put quarters in a swear jar and he wears a cross under his shirt. he's also 25. he's incredibly naive when it comes to the world around him and is very close with his parents. he goes to their place weekly for family dinners. his best friends are ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kyndra and clifford and he lives with cais. he's also friends with knoxs, muzzle and cargill. kingsleytaylor is his ex from high school and he somehow knows marisol through kyndra. if we don't have something, we should.
