Who: Gabriel Gray, Veronica Mars and a couple of NPCs
When: Monday afternoon
Where: A block from the movie theater, in an alley
Warnings: Language, little bit of violence at the beginning
Getting picked on wasn't anything new to Gabriel Gray. He'd been picked on since the day he'd started public school at the tender age of 4. He'd always been different, the quiet, shy, unobtrusive one. The weird one. The loner. Nothing special about him, no siree. He'd been called gay because of the way he wore his hair and the clothes he wore, and he'd even beaten up a few times.
He hated it but he'd never fought back, which earned him another label -- wimp. He didn't care. None of these people mattered to him. One day, he'd be out of there, he'd be different, he'd be special, he'd be everything his mother wanted him to be.
But that day wasn't today. No, today, he was lying on his side in a shadowed part of an alleyway, curled into a fetal position. Two guys from school were kicking him, making cruel remarks, trying to egg him into a fight.
