Ronnie was done with work for the day, and although she had some complicated paperwork and reports to finish that evening, she'd worry about them... later. Procrastination was Ronnie's way of life, and while it annoyed some people (read: Hermes), it suited her. Deadlines existed for a reason, and not that many Aurors in the department ever really turned their paperwork in early, she'd never heard of one getting paid more for finishing paperwork early. So, it'd be done on time, perhaps missing a few pieces, definitely disorganized, but Ronnie would do it, like she always did. Ronnie just needed a snack and a nap first.
So Ronnie was a bit startled when she woke to Pig's insistent hooting and squeaking, the owl was better security than almost any charm Ronnie knew, but Ronnie relaxed when she heard Hermes' voice. Then she started again when she realized that the crisps she'd been eating before her nap were now littered across her bed. Well. She'd deal with those later, too. It wasn't like Hermes really expected her space to be pristinely clean, anyway. "Yeah, back here," Ronnie yelled as she sat up in bed. "And not entirely," she added, although Ronnie really didn't understand why Hermes had to be so fussy about it. At least she'd decided to leave her underwear on for her nap.
"Now I'm decent," Ronnie said as she emerged from her room, dressed in an over-sized Canons shirt and her favourite tall, warm socks. Her hair was, in all likelihood, the usual barely combed mess, but at least it was out of her face. "What have I done to deserve such a surprise?" she asked Hermes, smiling as she padded into the living room.
