Ronnie relaxed when her suggestion didn't seem to visibly offend Hermes' sometimes delicate sensibilities. On the contrary, he only seemed to feel even more confident about his plan of action, which Ronnie hadn't expected, but once again, she was pleasantly surprised. She kissed him with a renewed fervor, because as complicated as this could make their future, Ronnie didn't care. She trusted Hermes more than she'd ever trusted another person, even if she didn't always act like she did, and that was all the assurance that Ronnie really needed. Ronnie didn't even bother to protest the way that Hermes just carried her into her bedroom, although, in truth, she decided that she liked it when Hermes took the initiative to be more forward in this arena.
Wrapping her arms more firmly around Hermes' shoulders when she was instructed to do so, Ronnie let out a strangled cry as Hermes seemed to falter, the sound turning to laugher when he all but tossed her into her bed. "You're going to have to practice that move a bit more, you know," she advised as he joined her on the bed. She thought about teasing him for making even more of a mess on her bedroom floor with the bed sheets, but Ronnie decided to focus her energies on more productive activities, like attempting to get Hermes out of his shirt.
"I think that I'll be sore if I don't," Ronnie replied with a smile as she returned her hands to Hermes' chest and began to undo the buttons on his shirt. This-- winding up in bed with Hermes and kissing him until they were both breathless-- Ronnie hadn't seen any of it coming, perhaps somewhere in the future, but definitely not that evening. So, for good measure, and perhaps to reassure herself, Ronnie kissed Hermes again because if there was anything that was going to convince her of how utterly right this was, another kiss would certainly help with that.
