Ronnie closed her eyes as she climbed atop Hermes, settling comfortably against him as his hands began to wander down her back. She shivered, thanking whatever gods existed that Hermes was responding in kind and not scolding her for being overly forward or not worrying about the spilled wine. But then Ronnie decided to attribute Hermes' lack of fuss to her own prowess when it came to snogging, so of course he was powerless to complain at that moment because he was completely and utterly distracted and amazed.
For all that Ronnie might have expected Hermes to do in their current position, he was certainly surprising her. But it definitely wasn't something that Ronnie would never complain about because Ronnie Weasley was the sort of woman who almost always welcomed a surprise. Even more so when it was Hermes who happened to be surprising her, just as long as the surprise didn't involve any of the mushy stuff that he was bound to bring up. Even so, Ronnie hummed with satisfaction as Hermes pulled her closer, a sound which became a gasp when she realized exactly what he was doing.
And something in Ronnie's head clicked, because whether Hermes had thought that the kiss might have been her fight or flight moment, it seemed that the moment had finally hit Ronnie, even if it had been a bit delayed. But still, she pressed forward because even though she had a choice, and despite the way that she definitely could have stopped her right hand from sliding down the center of Hermes' lean chest, or the way that she could have kept her hips from experimentally rolling into his, Ronnie didn't stop herself. She really couldn't. She'd always counted on Hermes to keep her reigned in, why would this be any different?
But as much as she didn't want to stop, Ronnie did have to breathe. "Fuck, Hermes," she gasped, eyes bleary and lips swollen with kisses as she looked down at him. "If you want to go to the bedroom, you're going to have to give me a minute to get the crisps out of my bed," Ronnie said, if only to mute the sound of her own panting breath. It was crazy that with just a few kisses, Hermes could have her head spinning and ridiculous things coming out of her mouth, but Ronnie couldn't help herself. "I mean," she stuttered, face heating as all the implications of her words finally started to sink in. "That's not entirely what I meant, not that I didn't mean it either." Ronnie looked into Hermes face, trying to find some sort of answer there as she curled her fingers into Hermes' shirt. "Just shut me up again? It was so much better then I wasn't talking."
