Who: Eleven and Amy and Clara Where: The Life Support systems in the Control Room What: The Doctor's bringing life to the ship When: Just awhile after Suri's announcement Warnings: Nay.
"GIVE ME LIFE!" The exclamation from the Doctor reverberated over the interior, metal walls of the control room and subsequent corridor. A switch was flipped and the sounds of running motors followed his echoing voice, when suddenly this was interrupted by a pop, smoke, and then more exclamations, "NO NO NO! YOU STUPID, ARCHAIC COMPUTER!" He slapped the side of it before holding his hands in the air, looking up and around him, "Sorry." He said to Suri, if she was even listening.
He dropped to his knees and looked around once more at all the parts surrounding him. The room around him, in particular, was a mess. Wires were a tangled mess around him, panels were tossed on tables, and washers or metal sprigs were found in a crumpled, unorganized mess. He leaned into the open panel before him again, head first, with the Sonic already protruding ahead with green light flashing, and sonic sounds ... sonicing. Twisting onto his back he began to rummage through, before a loud yank was heard and he pulled out a mother board. Sniffing at it, he looked it over and then set it down, before reaching back into the compartment once more, and tossed a couple of screws out.
"Why do you even have these? So inefficient. Humans, I'll never be done saving you, from your disorganization this time, it would seem," Still he went hurtling through the mess with ease and at a whirlwind pace before popping back out and looking around. Goggles on his eyes, he had a look of confusion on his face while he worked out what he was looking for. Then he found his jacket which was tossed over a console, reached into a pocket, and pulled out some gum. Staring at it, he shrugged and then tugged out a ball of yarn as he popped the gum and went back into the device. Head, once again, buried.
