Castiel had no real answer for her question -- the variables were so changed and everything was so different here that he couldn't even make a proper educated guess, even having lived through a similar situation in his own time. As if to let her on to his complete lack of knowledge he only raised his shoulders in a half shrug and splayed his fingers wide in an exaggerated gesture.
"Uncertain," he said, terse as ever and more, particularly after having spoken so much a few moments ago. He felt suddenly out of words, like he'd used up his allotted quota and was now just sorely lacking. Oddly poetic, he decided, since he felt sorely lacking in many ways.
