Castiel wanted neither a reminder of the fact that all the emotions he'd been able to block before were wild now and overwhelming, or advice. Or advice on emotions. It was all entirely too much.
The forgiveness, however, was taken well. Even if this wasn't his Sam, it was still a Sam, and that was good enough for him.
"You needn't be sorry," he said, honestly. "You did nothing at all that has to do with my current state of being." While he did understand the basic concept of empathizing, he saw no reason for it here. "I will simply adjust as needs must. There is little else to be done with the matter."
He tilted his head to the side, considering for a moment. "Keep in mind what I have mentioned about your wall," he told the youngest Winchester. "I will not be able to help you here how I did in my own reality. Do not push anything."
