So this was what it came to. Anna had always felt that he needed to learn for himself. To take every misstep and learn not to do such a thing again, and yet...there he was. She would have been lying had she said that she wasn't slightly worried when she knocked on the door and no one came to it. But he was there. With a pulse. And probably the worst headache he'd ever experienced in his entire existence. In a way, it served him right. And yet, in another way, Anna wasn't about to be too hypocritical. She'd been sixteen once. She'd broken the rules. And while her parents had acted like they didn't notice how miserable she was the morning after she'd gotten drunk for the first time as a means of punishing her, she wasn't about to do the exact same thing. Luckily for him, she wasn't his mother.
She didn't know if he noticed her arrive and depart quickly - it probably didn't even matter since throwing up tended to leave a person in a state of mental limbo. But she needed to gather what she needed. There was at least a clinic in the town. The substance within the ice pack was festively half red and half green, but it would do. And while she didn't know if the giant bottle of water she grabbed was flavored or not, she seriously hoped it wasn't for his sake. She doubted his twin had thought to even remind him to stay hydrated throughout any of it.
And once she returned, the smell of alcohol and general hangover probably would have hit her a lot harder.
When she knelt down, the floor wasn't cold. Considering the fact that it was made of ice, that took even her by surprise, but it was pleasant in a way. Proof that magic still existed and also proof that Cas wouldn't also be suffering from hypothermia. Even then, she had a feeling it wouldn't be just his head that was hurting if he laid there for too long. Sighing, she set the bottle down and kept the ice pack in hand. She'd also decided to forego any aspirin. If he thought drinking was a good way to kill his pain, she really wasn't interested in getting him involved with anything that might be even worse.
"So did you learn something last night?" she asked firmly.
She didn't bother to lower her tone more than her usual volume. If it hurt him, it'd serve as a lesson.
