Look what walked in the door today
Who: Remy, Marie and Nathan
What: Familiar Faces
When: Friday, Lunchtime
Where: An Italian restaurant
Warnings: Language maybe, anything else TBD
Remy and Marie had decided to go out to lunch instead of ordering in at the hotel. They did like to go out in public mostly to show each other off. At least he liked to show her off because she was wickedly beautiful and every man in the land should know that she was his and to back off if they knew what was best for them. Remy quite liked the looks that they'd get walking arm in arm. It was interesting to see the way that times had changed and though it was still not common to see a white male with a black female, they got their share of looks. The best part was that not a damn person around them could do shit about it. There was something about her exotic beauty that he'd drawn Remy to her all those years ago and it had yet to loosen the hold upon him even now, decades later.
They'd been seated in the little restaurant in a secluded booth near the back. They'd slid in to the same side of said booth and were facing the door as Remy did like to watch people come and go. Hell, most of his girls in the brothel were random women off the streets. He had a way with reading people and could tell when someone needed something new and different and maybe a little jingle in their pockets. It was because he was facing the door that he saw Nathan enter. "Darling," he said, eyes flicking from the man to his own wife beside him. "Don't we know that man over there?"
