Rupert definitely needed to get back in the saddle because his daughter needed a mother who loved her no matter what instead of a bitch that ran out the first chance she got. Besides, if he was busy with his own relationship, he wouldn't have any time to meddle in hers and that sounded amazing.
She nodded a little at his question. "It makes sense." she agreed. "I wish I could make it go faster for you, but as much time as it took me to be able to dance en pointe, unlearning it would be even harder. It's like... taking away a part of me." she shrugged. The analogy definitely made things easier for Jayne to understand and she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Is there anything I can do to help you get used to things this way?" she asked. "Maybe instead of untraining yourself, you can just retrain yourself." she murmured.
