"You better not." she whispered as she held tighter to him in fear that he might just disappear if she didn't hold him tight enough. She finally pulled back enough to look at him as her hands moved to his face. "I'm going to help you find a job." she told him decidedly. "A real job that doesn't involve guns or ammunition or slicing anything to pieces." she went on. "And eventually you'll be able to get your own place and... well, it'll just be better and I'll feel safer with you in your own place and not in a hotel room." she murmured as she let her fingers slide down from his cheeks to his neck.
She arched a brow at him. "Not into the sort of girly necklace?" she asked him when she realized he wasn't wearing the charm. She hadn't figured he'd keep it on him, but it made her decide to make him something less feminine to keep him safe.
