It didn't take Sadhbh too much time to wear herself out telling Becky the story. In about five minutes she was mumbling half in English and half in Gaelic before she just gave up and fell asleep.
Cathair was getting a bit concerned. It didn't take that long to tell a story. Unless his daughter was taking advantage of Becky's generous nature and conned her into more than one story. Settling Amy against his shoulder, he walked to the door and quietly opened it a bit.
Nothing seemed to be amiss. It looked Sadhbh had dozed off. He waited until Becky came out though. He'd expected his daughter to be difficult to get to sleep tonight, since she was excited about their houseguests. Apparently, Becky was good at calming down overly excitable little girls.
