The pain from him cleaning the wound didn't compare to the pain that was caused from the extraction of the bullet, so she didn't put up much of a fuss. A low growl sounded from deep inside her throat at hearing both her brother in pain and because of Ophelia calling him 'baby'. But for some reason her attention went right back to the guy that was nearest her. Annie moved her head a little, rubbing it against him. The action could have been taken for her trying to say thank you. But part of it, probably a larger part, was the feline instinct to put some of her scent on him, the cat wanting to put that little lingering smell on him to warn others that this one was hers. Though the thought of that caused her ears to pin back a little, why the hell was she wanting to mark him in that way?
